One of several psuedo brand concepts and artworks for ORION FESTIVAL, a VR based music festival held on the VRchat platform.

I wanted to make some reference to alternate self and transhumanism in a scifi theme in a more positive light. There are positives and positive scenarios from usage of VR devices, and the festival was certainly one of them.

Subject was rendered in Blender with a dome-projection HDRI, wiith some surface elements camera projected on top with fSpy.
EEVEE was used in order to render out a lot of different lights quickly.
The PCB themed emissive is on a a skinned layer (solidify) and actually overlays the mesh - simple to UV, and interacts nicely with the transmissive material underneath. The idea was that a cybernetic 'layer' was extruding from the headset lenses to the body.
