bandaid uses some slight transparency to allow strong facial emissive through
Using a proxy mesh that was solidified, I transferred the normals to bring some volume to the (flat) hair cards
toon experimentation! figured how to get an outline shader in cycles with flat shading....
...and with regular reflections.
It also falls back properly in eevee. good stuff.
